Lisbon Oriente Station (Estacao do Oriente)
Cantar as Janeiras- This is a tradition of going door to door "carrolling", that was originally done in the first week of January to celebrate Jesus' birth and the New Year...now it's done all month long! This is the view over the gate.
It's not all sunshine...Mouse poop. An intensive cleansing was done in the kitchen.
This is the view of the interior yard taken from a window in the house.
Now this is more like it...Aveiro delicacies.

ReplyDeleteThanks ya'all! I'm taking a class twice a week now at the local university to better my language skills. Hopefully the volunteering will begin later this month. I'll keep ya posted.
